From the young age of 16, Rafael Meier followed in his father’s footsteps and immersed himself in the art of pastry-making, learning the delicate balance of flavors to create confection masterpieces in his motherland, Switzerland. He gained experience in renowned Swiss chocolate producer Max Felchlin AG, absorbing the secrets and techniques that make Swiss chocolates an unrivaled delight. He also honed his craft while working in both the United States and France, under the guidance of the esteemed World Champion pastry chef, Olivier Bajard. After leading the whole pastry department at a famous Swiss catering firm - SV (Schweiz) AG Switzerland, he joined Gourmet House Limited founded by his father Jurg Meier in 2020 as Production Manager and brought a wealth of knowledge and a passion for all things chocolate and pastry to the company. His creations embody the perfect harmony of Swiss tradition and a touch of Eastern relish, resulting in an extraordinary fusion of flavors that tantalize the senses, and ensuring that Gourmet House 's products continue to exceed customer expectations.
